Kingdom Consulting and Publishing is here to serve you and help your business rise to a higher level. As a start, we will meet with you to discuss your needs and requirements using our Web Site Design Planning Form. Client will review all preferences, including web page table of contents and preferred web pages. The customer will provide files with content (documents, .jpg images, .pdf files, etc.) in electronic format via email or on a jump drive prior to the developer beginning the work.
Original files should be in Microsoft Office format (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Adobe PDF format). Client must have access to Windows 2000, Windows 2007, Windows XP, and Internet Explorer 6.0 or later to run their web site. Photographs and clip art should be in .jpg or .bmp format. Client also provides magazine, news articles, and photos that require scanning.
Normal duration of development is 4 weeks, depending upon the project workload and complexity of the request. Clients may check the progress of their web site by visiting their new web site URL (e.g. www.yourwebsitename.com - extensions may also end in .net and .org) throughout the development process. Basic web sites may be developed within 7 business days if there is an urgent deadline, and an additional fee for ‘Rush Service’ will be charged. A minimum deposit of 50% is necessary to begin all web site development work plus the fees to acquire the domain(s) and hosting package (if applicable).
The remaining balance may be paid in two equal installments (one payment two weeks after the first payment and the final payment upon completion of the web site since the site will be in production at that time and the development has been completed). This is based on a 4-week delivery schedule. Normal turnaround time is 6-8 weeks. Web sites vary in complexity and in appearance; and therefore, they vary in cost. Developing a web site is like building a house -- there is always something that can be added or “fine tuned.” However, the overall arching goal is to provide you with a quality web site that promotes your services and information in a visible and professional manner. Your new web site will be one that is relatively inexpensive in cost and fairly easy for you and your organization to maintain. More importantly, the gifts and talents at Kingdom Consulting and Publishing are being used to enable and equip the body of Christ in promoting and making its services available to help others and advance God’s kingdom. | |
